Wines of Campania

We're headed to Campania. Wine making in this region dates back to the 12th century BCE with indigenous populations and Greek settlers tending to vines and producing wines. During the Ancient Roman period, Pliny the Elder wrote a great deal about the wines of Campania, specifically Falerno, the most sought after Cru of its time. While we won't be tasting any Falerno, we will be traveling through space and time as we taste through examples of the many indigenous varietals of the area. Join us!
